Requirements for the Colorado Challenge

General Requirements
  • must have a positive attitude
  • must have a strong desire to help children
  • must be flexible and willing to volunteer
Sponsorship Requirements
The cost of this trip is US $700.00. This price covers the following:

Hotel/Transport Fee - $400.00 USD
- US $400- will go towards the logistical aspects of this trip (Hotel, Transportation, Tickets). This fee must be paid as a deposit for the trip and will hold your space.

Children's Fund Fee - $300 USD
50% of the donated funds go to The GVN Foundation to assist with the development and continuance of our programs around the world. 50% will go towards our Stop Child Poverty Campaign to end extreme child poverty around the world by 2015. Please note that $300 is the minimum donation. We will gladly accept additional donations as we work to end extreme child poverty.

The Hotel/Transport Fee includes:
  • 2 night hotel stay in Denver
  • Transportation in Denver to specified events
  • Tickets to the Nobel Laureate Panel Discussion
The Hotel/Transport Fee does not include:
  • Gratuities
  • Alcoholic Drinks
  • Meals while in Denver
  • Items of a personal nature (gifts etc.)
  • Transportation to/from Denver to the Airport
  • Personal effects
  • Flights to/from Denver
If you would like to arrange your own accommodation/transport, or if you are local, the program fees can be adjusted to the following program:

Optional Sponsorship The cost of this trip is US $400.00. This price covers the following:

Volunteer/Speech Fee- $100 USD
This fee will cover the volunteer and Nobel Laureate Speech portion of the trip. This fee must be paid as a deposit for the trip and will hold your space.

Children's Fund Fee- $300 USD
