Location and Dates
Mount Kilimanjaro is located in Tanzania, Africa. Participants of this fundraiser will travel in parts of Kenya, and Tanzania. The hike will begin on 13 January and finish on 23rd January.
Participants will be asked to locate their own flights to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Kenya. Participants should aim to arrive before the night of the 12th of January. From there the participants will be driven to Marangu, Tanzania where they will prepare for their hike. From Marangu participants will embark on an unforgettable journey to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. After hiking Mount Kilimanjaro participants will return to Nairobi, Kenya. They will then be transported to the Shelter Children's Home in the Massailand to meet the kids their funds have assisted. After volunteering in participants will be returned to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Kenya, where they may catch their connecting flights home anytime after the 23rd January.
