Location and Dates
Mount Kilimanjaro is located in Tanzania, Africa. Participants of this fundraiser will travel in parts of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. The dates of the trip are January 10-20, 2006.
Participants will be asked to locate their own flights to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Kenya before 10AM January 10, 2006. From there the participants will be driven to Marangu, Tanzania where they will prepare for their hike. From Marangu participants will embark on an unforgettable journey to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. After hiking Mount Kilimanjaro participants will fly to Entebbe, Uganda. They will then be transported to Kampala, the capital of Uganda, where they will stay. Each day they will be transported to the village of Buloba where the school is being constructed. After volunteering in participants will be returned to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Kenya, where they may catch their connecting flights home the afternoon of January 20, 2006.
