Volunteer can work on environmental projects located throughout the state deemed �The Last Frontier�. This program provides practical and hands-on experience for individuals interested in making an environmental contribution to the global community. Volunteers have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including research, environmental education and conservation.




South Dakota

Volunteers can work at a community youth centre located on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation run by members of the Lakota tribe. Working with children aged 4-18 volunteers will help with all aspects of running the centre, from arts and craft to helping with literacy programs and working in the organic garden.
