Jono RyanAlong with Jeremy, Jono has been responsible for GVN's graphic design and media since "the early days." He has worked in New Zealand as a community youth worker, has undergraduate degrees in music and history, and is currently pursuing graduate studies in Vancouver.Jono is a compulsive dabbler, and enjoys trying his hand at photography, graphic design, DV editing, audio composition, and other forms of creative media. He is passionate about working with projects at "grass roots" level, and has valued opportunities to learn from communities in New Zealand, Australia, Nepal, Ghana and Ecuador. He is presently involved with projects in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside community. Outside of work and study, Jono's main interests tend to involve the outdoors, music, or looking for a decent cup of coffee. |
