Location and Dates of the ClimbMachu Picchu is located in Peru, South America. Participants of this fundraiser will travel to Peru for the hike.The 2007 trek will take place between August 19-27 2007. Participants will be asked to locate their own flights to Cuzco Airport, Peru. From there the participants will be picked up and taken to their hotel. After a day of sightseeing the following morning our trekking partner will drive participants to the beginning of The Inca Trail. For the next three days participants will trek through the lush landscape of the Peruvian mountains. After spending a half day at Machu Picchu participants will return to Cuzco. After a night's rest at the hotel participants will be driven to Anta Cuzco, a department of Cuzco where the orphanage is located. For the next day and a half the participants will have the opportunity to interact with the girls of the orphanage.
