Katie Gray
Katie is the program coordinator for the Ghana and Uganda programs. She has a Bachelor of Education however her passion lies not in the classroom, but in giving orphaned and abandoned children a chance to be loved and nurtured. In 2000 she was part of a team who traveled to Thailand to run English camps in Thai Secondary Schools. This experience gave her the travel bug (!) and also confirmed for her the immense difference volunteers can make to individuals and communities. Outside of the office Katie fills her time with tramping, painting, playing the guitar and hanging at the beach.
