The following GVN images are freely available for and optimised for your desktop. There are four sizes available depending on your display resolution.

If you are running a version of Windows, follow these steps:
Internet Explorer: right-click the image and select "Set As Background".
Other browsers (including Netscape): save the image to your C://Windows directory, minimise all open windows, right-click on your desktop, select "Properties", click "Browse" and select the relevant image.

If you are using an Apple, follow these steps:
Mac OS9.x and earlier: save the image to disk, select "Control Panels", select "Appearance", "Desktop" and drag and drop the saved image into the preview and click "Set Desktop".
Mac OSX: save the image to disk, go to the Appearance section of the Control Panel, choose the image in the "Desktop" tab and click "Set Desktop".
